SUMMARY
Isle of Man’s blockchain-based digital franking software successfully executed in multiple Earth and Lunar orbits. Despite the mission truncation due to a landing anomaly, Lonestar’s payload onboard Intuitive Machines’ IM-2 lunar lander, Athena, executed Isle of Man’s container multiple times during Lunar transit and orbit. Additionally, Lonestar successfully uploaded the Isle of Man’s Triskelion logo stamps on 2nd March 2025, enhancing the digital-franking dataset for future use.
MISSION EXECUTION & PERFORMANCE
Launch Date: 26th February 2025
Duration: 8 days (planned 18 days; mission truncated due to landing anomaly).
The payload travelled more than 400,000km and performed 39 orbits of the Moon in Low Lunar Orbit. Data Transmission Performance: Data uplink and downlink were successfully performed, securely returning container execution results and the uploaded stamps.
